Daily Acts: Volunteers Transform Yard Into Edible Garden

About the project:

The yard transformation was organized by Daily Acts, an inspiring organization based in Petaluma, CA that works with permaculture design principles. In the video, Daily Acts Founder Trathen Heckman shares his thoughts on how small actions can help address big problems like climate change, water scarcity and suburban sprawl. It was such a relief to spend the day with Trathen and his crew because they’re so aware of the depressing and sometimes overwhelming news about the state of our world but they’ve decided to come together in their neighborhood to create small, simple actions that ripple out in a big way.

This short film was produced by Global Oneness Project.
